Women's Ministry
Precious Vessels of Virtue (PVV)
The Precious Vessels of Virtue (PVV) is the Women’s Ministry of ICGC Grace Temple. We aim to enhance the image of the woman through a life that is balanced spiritually, physically, mentally and socially.
Ministry Objectives:
- Help women accept themselves as the creation of God and see themselves as God sees them; carriers of the life of God on earth.
- Help each woman discover their God given talents and the transformation of these talents into productivity.
- Help women understand their roles in life, closely linked with potential as taught explicitly in the bible.
- Help raise every woman to the point where she is capable of being used as a vessel in God’s hands to bless society.
- Provide avenues and motivate women to engage in various services in line with the vision of this ministry.
- Prepare every woman to fulfil their role in the ICGC of vision.
Ministry Grouping
Women of this ministry are mobilized to provide various forms of services in line with our objectives to receive and provide maximum care, love, etc. We have:
- Prayer ministry
- Mothers of Zion: A special group towards the elderly women
- Expectant mothers club
- Mom to mom club
- Ministry to Single Parents
- Special ministry to girls
- Ministry to single ladies
- Welfare/DORCAS ministry: Daughters of righteousness caring and sharing
- PVV support services
Organization
For effective fellowship, ministry to women and the enhancement of service to our community, members of the ministry have been grouped in to four identifiable families called vessels.
Every woman of this ministry must belong to one of these vessels:
- Chrysolite Vessel
- Sapphire Vessel
- Emerald Vessel
- Jacinth Vessel
Vessel names have been chosen to reflect value, hence four precious stones mentioned in the book of revelation have been used to name the vessels (Rev. 21:19-20).
